Protein shakes are good for supplementing a diet with extra protein while not having to eat another piece of chicken. Here’s my review of the MyoFusion Probiotic protein by Gaspari Nutrition.

Conclusion:
I bought this protein because I was out and my local gym was selling some supplements to try to make some extra money. I don’t remember how much I paid but I paid more than these prices, so I will base my conclusion on the quoted prices.
Chocolate peanut butter was the flavor I got. The flavor itself was pretty tasty, reminded me of a Reese cup. For me, mixing was not as successful as I would have hoped. I tried room temperature water, cold water, milk and all of them seemed to have a gritty feel to it.
Nothing horrible but I didn’t particularly sip on this shake like I have other brands; this is a slammer type shake. Grit aside, the mix didn’t get clumpy where you end up chewing on the protein pieces.
Overall I give this product a 4/5. I had to check my bias at the door on this one. If I compare to other brands that I personally like better I would have given this a lower score. From an unbiased standpoint this protein is a cost-effective protein that has characteristics of other proteins in this price range.
I gave a 4 out of 5 because the taste is great and I would be interested to try other flavors just to see if they have the same amount of flavor as my chocolate peanut butter did. The gritty was the biggest turnoff for me; I just couldn’t get it to mix smooth and that’s where I knocked points off.
The cost-effective price saved this protein to falling down to a 3.5/5. Overall this is a good protein for the money.
