Before we begin on this product review, check out the rest of the Rich Piana’s 5% Nutrition line that I reviewed:

No matter where you go, pre-workouts are like the holy grail of supplements.

People will go to Walmart or any place to buy crappy protein or buy some worthless supplements that don’t even have the ingredients in them.

But wherever you go, you always hear someone talking about the pre-workout they have… like it’s some drug or something.

So here’s my product review on 5% Nutrition’s Kill It Pre-Workout.

Conclusion

So the reason this took the longest is because I wanted to plenty of uses out of it before I write a review on it.

Feeling while training

I felt a nice, sustainable, even amount of energy while working out. I did not get that super heart-pumper… which I am glad.

I personally like the effects of Beta Alanine and that feeling of tingling/skin crawling – but this pre-workout wasn’t too bad with it.

With 250mg caffeine per scoop, I would highly advise testing the waters before going double/triple scoop… There really isn’t a need for it. I’ve taken 1 gram of caffeine at a powerlifting meet once and all it did was give me cramps and make me feel like I was having a heart attack. This is definitely a 1 scoop type of pre-workout.

Taste

Mango Pineapple made me cringe at first thinking about other crappy tasting pre-workouts but I was surprised when I tried it. They did a good job with masking the medicine flavor with sucralose and it’s actually pretty nice. I don’t have to get pumped up to drink it and it’s definitely not one that you HAVE to slam to get it down.

Mixability

This mixes well, it still has the creatine settling in the bottom like everything else, but it is no worse (possibly a little better) mixing than the others I’ve tried.

Overall

Overall I am happy with this pre-workout and I may start using it instead of the MTS Clash that I’ve been using.

I give this product a 9/10 because of the taste, the price is on point, and the mixability is not bad.

It’s hard to get a 10/10 but this is as close as you can get.
