Branch chained amino acids, or BCAA for short, are a useful supplement if used correctly. BCAAs help with protein synthesis, muscle recovery, muscle endurance, and keeping your body from going catabolic. Generally a BCAA is best when you supplement intra-workout or post workout.

BSN’s AminoX is a great BCAA supplement with great flavor. There are a few flavors; watermelon, fruit punch, green apple, blue raspberry, grape*. Seems that depending where you shop the prices vary greatly and so do flavor selections. If you shop at Vitamin Shoppe they have they flavors listed and run $26.99.
Overall I give this product a 5/5. BSN’s AminoX has exceeded my expectations. My favorite flavor is grape and I have watermelon right now and it is tasty as well.
This BCAA is a little effervescent (carbonated). Once I mix it in my shaker and open the cap, there is an initial fizz but nothing after that. I am so happy with the flavor I use this product to flavor my water just to have a healthy drink.
The only con about this product is that they use proprietary blends. I would like to know exactly how much of what ingredient is going into my product, but this company is time tested and has proven to have great supplements.
Disclaimer: Supplements are made to help supplement your lifestyle. If you do not have a decent diet and workout routine already in place, this is not going to be a miracle muscle growth formula. This product is intended to be used to gain muscle endurance, muscle recovery, protein synthesis, and to keep your body from going catabolic.
